The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT)
The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is an international institute of higher learning. It is Asia’s pioneer institution established in 1959 to help meet the region’s growing needs for advanced learning in engineering, science, technology and management, research and capacity building. AIT’s mission is to develop highly qualified and committed professionals who will play a leading role in the sustainable development of the region and its integration into the global economy. AIT is based in Thailand.
Dual Degree Program on MBA in AI and Business Analytics
Academic Year 2026-27
Designed to meet the growing demand for professionals who can integrate AI, advanced analytics, and strategic management, the program combines IIM Jammu’s strengths in leadership and management education with AIT’s international and technology-driven academic excellence. Students will complete the first year at IIM Jammu (India) and the second year at AIT (Thailand), gaining international exposure, cross-cultural learning, and industry- relevant experience.
Graduates will be equipped to drive AI-enabled transformation, support nation-building initiatives, and lead organizations across industry, government, and global enterprises. A key strength of the dual degree structure includes:

About the Program: Dual Degree Structure
1 Credit = 10 hours
1 Credit = 15 hours
IIMJ: The first year of the IIMJ Master’s program requires 64.5 credits of coursework. The inaugural academic year commences in July and is divided into three trimesters, each lasting approximately 12 weeks. The students will also take an 8 to 10 weeks of Summer Internship Project (SIP) of 3 credits at IIMJ.
AIT: The second year of the AIT Master’s program requires 32 credits which is equivalent of 48 IIMJ credits to fulfil the requirements of 115.5 credits of IIMJ credit to award the dual-degree. The second academic year commences in June and is divided into 5 Terms.
Admission Requirements
- Students entering the program must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a reputable university and a good academic record.
- Admission to the Program will be based on IIMJ admission policy.
- To be eligible to transfer to AIT for the second year, IIMJ students should obtain a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale in their 1st year.
- IIMJ will certify the English eligibility for all such students.
